Sheriff Technologies Ltd is team of electrical engineers, software developers and project managers, who create innovative products for highways, road safety and car parking applications.
We are experts in designing, manufacturing and installing variable message signs for car parks and road safety products like school patrol signals and vehicle activated signs.
Established in 2010, and based in Newcastle upon Tyne, we have installation and maintenance teams operating nationally and regularly export to Ireland and other European countries.
Working with both the public and private sectors on projects large and small, we also supply many of the most well know car park operators. High profile projects Sheriff Technologies have been involved with include the Craven Cottage events parking system, parking guidance systems for shopping centres such as The Rock in Bury, Bridges in Sunderland and Selfridges in London; and hospitals including Pinderfields Wakefield, QMC Nottingham and Gloucester Royal. We’ve also supplied railways stations, universities, ports & airports and bluechip corporate headquarters.
Our approach focuses on using efficient design practices, utilising up-to-the-minute components and lean manufacturing processes. This ensures our products are reliable, easy-to-use and integrate seamlessly with other systems, while offering unparalleled value to our customers.
About Darren Sheriff
Darren is the founder and Managing Director of Sheriff Technologies. With more than 10 years at director level in the road traffic sector, Darren started Sheriff Technologies Ltd to create products using innovative design and smart manufacturing techniques with the aim of delivering a price-level advantage over the competition.
As a recognised expert in the parking industry, Darren has consulted on projects including Wembley events parking system; Heathrow Airport vehicle counting system; Wolverhampton, Poole & Nicosia (Cyprus) city centre parking guidance systems; Vodafone World HQ information signs and many more.
With a degree in Computer Science, Darren is actively involved at all levels of the business.
