Deciding on which level to start the search for a free parking space can be infuriating for drivers. Reducing the search time with clear and accurate signage is a simple way for reducing this frustration and improving the experience of visitors to busy shopping centres, airports, arenas and other multi storey car parks.

Sheriff Technologies Ltd have supplied another shopping centre with variable message sign system, this time Trinity Walk in Wakefield.
The large car park totem signs are placed at the perimeter of the centre to encourage shoppers towards the destination.

Our 60mm SPACES / FULL signs are a perfect solution to display parking availability on barrier arms. Voltage driven by 24v, the signs integrate seamlessly with almost all of the top barrier manufacturers equipment.
Here, the signs are used at a John Lewis store in Welwyn Garden City. With automatic intensity control the LED message remains at the optimum brightness level in all ambient light conditions.

Our Entry/Exit lane management signs have been installed at Angel Place car park in Somerset, to allow optimum flow of vehicle in and out of aa variable lane depending on the time of day.
User configurable, the sign can be used in a wide variety of locations, to display any combination of:
- ENTRY / EXIT (green)
- LEFT ARROW / RIGHT ARROW (green)

Sheriff Technologies Ltd have recently completed a high profile contract to supply variable message parking information signs for Selfridges in London.
The sign shows the available spaces on each of the 6 levels to drivers on entry. Smaller signs showing the status of the current and next level are also spread through the car park at decision points for drivers.

The Rock, in Bury, was the only major retail scheme to launch in the UK in 2010. It has brought an exciting new shopping experience to the area, featuring six flagship stores including M&S, Debenhams and Next, as well as a vibrant leisure area, which includes a Vue 10-screen multiplex cinema, a 24-lane AMF Bowling entertainment centre, and restaurants such as Nando’s, Pizza Express and Frankie & Benny’s.
Sheriff Technologies supplied seven variable message signs for the multi-storey car park development at the site.

Sheriff Technologies has supplied parking information signs at The Bridges shopping centre in Sunderland.
The sign pictured displays the real time occupancy of each level of the main multi-storey car park to drivers entering the shopping centre. Each level also has a sign showing the status of the current and next level to drivers as they search for an available space.
Parking information signs like this will reduce the search time of visitors and improve public perception of the car park.
