Parking Guidance & Information
Parking Guidance Systems (or Parking Guidance and Information - PGI systems) present drivers with dynamic information on parking within controlled areas. The systems combine traffic monitoring, communication, processing and variable message sign technologies.

- Utilisation of off-street parking is increased, therefore improving accessibility to short-stay on-street parking
- Changes in pollutant emissions (CO2) due to PGI are closely related to changes in overall travel time

SPACES / FULL / CLOSED signs display one of the fixed messages shown. The message is controlled by a voltage driven circuit (requiring 24v DC) linked to counting or barrier equipment.
Alphanumeric signs can show the real-time space availability within an area. The message is data driven and therefore requires RS232, TCP/IP, wi-fi or GPRS communications.
